How we roast your coffee

There’s an art to roasting coffee and a bit of science and we’ve mastered it. Every little detail matters when making that perfect Toby’s cup. It’s a careful and precise process, and a true labor of love, reflecting the hard work and passion our farmers put into growing every single bean.

We take the time to perfect the roasting process for all the different types of beans we blend and brew, from Kenya to Colombia, Brazil to Myanmar. Our expert roasters know exactly what temperatures and techniques to use to bring out the best in every bean. We’re particularly proud of our single origin coffees, roasted daily to achieve pure perfection.

We taste and test every batch of coffee over various time periods from 1 hour to 14 hours, and even up to 30 days adapting and refining the roasting process to ensure the best quality and consistency."

With backgrounds as head baristas, café managers, and café owners, they’re not only passionate and knowledgeable, but they also know how to serve a cup you'll love as much as we do.
